An easy to use software Interface to help people move emails from the inbox into tasks and calendars and to use Outlook as the single organising tool for all work.

2. Training to help people make the change - this is a critical component.

3. Metrics to allow companies to understand the value they are getting from Orla and the type of workers it is best suited to.

We get excellent results from our clients. The key is our patent-pending 4D interface that allows conversion of emails to real work. After a while the 4D approach gets hard wired and it is difficult to return to the old Outlook interface. One client even said that Orla is how Microsoft should have designed Outlook in the first place!

There is no “free lunch” though and users have to commit to making behavioural change - the biggest of which is to move away from using the Inbox as a rolling “to do” list to using tasks and the calendar.

Some people comment ‘but you can do this with Outlook now’. This is true – but few people do. Why?

· Because the Outlook interface is actually not very intuitive if your intention is to really organise the work that results from the email you receive. 400 million people using Outlook in 400 million ways can’t be right? Surely!

· People need to work within a pre-designed really simple and intuitive email and workload management system – and be taught properly how to use it. Think about it, has anyone ever taught you how to use a small piece of software properly and if they did, were you able to master it? With Orla, you WILL master the software!

· How do you know if you are actually winning if you don’t keep score? With Orla we measure everything so that you and the people you work with will readily understand the extent of your intellectual and financial investment. Which software or training company has ever offered this as ‘standard’ (if at all) before?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
